Folk activities held in schools in Xiongan to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival
Pupils from the Calligraphy Club write famous poetic lines of Qu Yuan, a poet from the Warring States Period (475-221BC), at No. 3 Xiongxian County Primary School in Xiongan New Area, north China's Hebei Province, June 14, 2018, to greet the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. The Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, or June 18 this year, and is marked by eating rice dumplings and racing dragon boats.
